Senior Coordinator – Legal Services & Impact
PSBA is seeking a Senior Coordinator to perform a variety of staff support, project management, complex administrative and/or record-keeping duties for the Legal Services and Impact teams.

Role responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Legal team with day-to-day administrative operations, with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Provide administrative support on special projects. Gather and distribute materials and resources for special PSBA events, and for PA School Boards Solicitors Association (PSBSA) activities.
  • Serve as Zoom host for member-facing remote meetings, as needed.
  • Track and manage the CLE process for attorneys participating in PSBA CLE programming, including reporting CLE completion.
  • Receive member inquiries and provide direct administrative support, as applicable for Legal Dept. Redirect inquiries to Legal team members or other colleagues for substantive support.
  • Coordinate and prepare PSBSA membership billings and invoice reconciliations.
  • Provide administrative support to the Pennsylvania School Safety Institute (PennSSI), including: fielding questions, scheduling oversight and coordination of facilitators and trainers, securing participant waivers, placing and accepting meal orders, and invoicing.
  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Impact Officer, including project management, complex administrative and records duties with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Provide support to ongoing and new department projects to include data tracking, document preparation, scheduling arrangements and administrative support.
  • Field member inquiries regarding Penn(SSI), member service offerings and designated programs, providing direct support as applicable, and redirecting other inquiries to colleagues.

Role requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in office administration, paralegal studies, business, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel required. Experience with Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems, and/or other databases preferred.
  • Must possess excellent telephone skills, value attention-to-detail and multi-task Legal Department projects concurrently. Excellent proof-reading skills.
  • The ideal candidate must possess ability and the desire to interact in a positive manner with members and staff and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with some independent work effort with supervisory direction.
